If Nassau County does not lower your assessed value as a result of the grievance we filed on your behalf, we will refund your payment in full. No questions asked.
Nassau County typically publishes assessment review determinations between April and May following the filing period. Once determinations are published, we will review every case and process refunds for any property that received a 0% reduction.
Nassau Tax Buddy uses an authorize-then-capture payment model. When you submit your authorization form, your card is authorized (a hold is placed) but not charged. Your card is only charged after we have successfully filed your grievance through AROW and received a confirmation application number. If filing fails for any reason, the authorization is released and you are never charged.

Refunds are not available in the following situations:
Email support@nassautaxbuddy.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the email address associated with your case. We will process eligible refunds within 5 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
For savings guarantee refunds, you do not need to contact us — we will proactively review all cases when ARC publishes its determinations and issue refunds automatically for properties that received no reduction.
A refund from Nassau Tax Buddy does not affect your grievance filing with Nassau County. If your grievance was already submitted to ARC, it remains active and will be reviewed regardless of whether you received a refund from us.
